This morning, Ajay Devgn’s father, the veteran action director Veeru Devgan passed away after a cardiac arrest. Bollywood’s well-known Veeru Devgn (85) breathed his last at Surya Hospital, Santacruz. Severel actors were seen visiting the Devgn residence at Juhu to pay their last respects. Suddenly, Kajol got very emotional and could not hold back her tears. Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya were round the corner. Aishwarya immediately held her tight and consoled her.
Few minutes back, we brought you the scenes from the Vile Parle crematorium where Veeru Devgan's mortal remains were laid to rest. Amitabh Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Arjun-Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Salim Khan were present to pay their last respects. Some time back, we also brought you an emotional video of Ajay bidding a tearful goodbye to his father.
Veeru Devgn's health had been failing since quite sometime. Ajay had even called off a few interviews during the promotion of his film, De De Pyaar De.
Veeru Devgan is known for his impeccable work in films like Dilwale (1994), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshaah (1988), to name just a few. He choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films. Also, he directed a film – Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999).
